The Trollwoods
The Trollwoods is a magical place heavily inspired by Nordic folktales. Filled with moss covered rocks and trees as far as the eye can see, you really get a sense of it being an ancient place. The forest is also enchanted, filled with magical creatures. Some of those creatures are helpful beings, some just fend for themselves, but some will do you harm, and those you have to look out for. Be careful of where you venture off to or you might find yourself in deadly peril.
Work together as the two sisters Frida & Astrid and try to make your way home. Solve puzzles and make your way through the mystical Trollwoods. Though you must stay vigilent, you never know what or who you will encounter.
Frida & Astrid
Frida
Being a small girl in a big world can be scary and Frida often finds that her surroundings is a bit too much. She likes seeking protection in what she finds familiar, usually her big sister.
Timid as Frida is, she still have a sense of extreme curiosity. As long as things are not too scary, Frida is filled with a childlike wonder, wanting to discover the world around her and learn how everything works.
Astrid
Frida is the most precious thing in the world to Astrid and she would give anything to protect her. Nothing is more distressing to Astrid than seeing Frida sad or in pain.
Ever since Frida's birth, Astrid has felt responsible for her little sister. With hard working parents, often away taking care of the farm, Astrid often were the one taking care of Frida. Astrid doesn't mind it though. She loves her sister and spending time with her.
Näcken
Näcken is a mystical creature from Nordic myths and takes many shapes. In Swedish media Näcken is most often depicte/d as a naked man playing a violin near lakes deep in the forest. One thing that is in common with most depiction of Näcken however, is that he tries to lure victims near his lake to drown them.
In this game you must avoid being seen by Näcken to not be enchanted by his music. If you stay in the open for too long you will eventually be dragged into the water.
