Melinda Emanuelsson

<p>My name is Melinda Emanuelsson and I am a game design student at PlaygroundSquad in Falun. I started my education in 2022 and I'm going to graduate in 2024. <br/></p><p>Before PlaygroundSquad I studied acting for several years, both at Calle Flygare theater school and Skara Skolscen. I learned a lot on working closely with different groups and working with creative productions and develop ideas to a finalized product.</p><p>I have also experience in working as a store manager at Gamestop, I worked there until Gamestop closed down all stores in Sweden at 2020. </p><p>During my time as a store manager I learned a lot on how to organize and motivate people around me. I learned how to take and solve conflicts with both customers and colleges in a good way and how to compromise to make everyone happy, or at least satisficed. </p><p>As a future game designer I hope to combine my experiences that I've gained throughout my work life and educations. I think my abilities would be best put at use in fields like quality assurance, producer and project manager. But I have also discovered a curiosity about level design as well and would like to investigate that field a bit more in the future.<br/></p>
