Hello, my name is Kieran Kharin and I am a :sparkles: programmer :sparkles: 

My programmer journey started a few years ago when we were making simple games in Scratch at school. That's when I spent hours on trying to figure out how to add a new cool feature to the game, and the satisfaction of actually seeing the working result was totally worth it! After Scratch, I moved on to making my first simple games in Unity and Monogame, from dating simulators and 2D RPGs to 3D horror games.

Programming languages I am experienced with are python and c#, and I am currently working on improving my C++ skills. The engines I've been working in up to this point are mostly Tengine (PlaygroundSquads in-house engine) and Unity.

The game projects I've worked on during my time at PlaygroundSquad so far:
Game project 1: Resilient

  • Enemy behavior, pathfinding
  • 3D main menu with a camera transitioning between different positions
  • In-game UI

Game project 2: Fear & Mischief

  • AI behavior
  • Sound implementation
  • UI features
