Svigða

“Feed the Village!”

Svigða” is a singleplayer, first-person, cooking game. Featuring a distinctly morbid atmosphere.

“You’ve been struggling against the stormy winds, able to see no more than a couple steps ahead of you, yet, for a moment, a warm glow catches the attention of your tired eyes, it’s so faint through the whiteout of the storm, you feel as though perhaps you’ve started going mad.

But you, dear traveller, are not going mad.

You are exhausted, hungry and dehydrated, but mad? Not quite.

You stride through the knee-high snow as fast as your aching legs can take you,  and as the light grows ever brighter through the blizzard, you see a cabin emerge with it, from the snowsquall.

You have arrived in the village of Svigda, dear traveller.”

- In Svigða, you play as a lost human, momentarily enslaved by a village of Trolls.

In exchange for a roof over your head and a fire to sleep by, you must feed the village over the winters coldest week.

Supplies run scarce, yet the trolls are as picky as ever, and not catering to their tastes can and will anger them.

So listen closely to the things they say, both to each other, and to your actions.

Figure out their preferences and keep them satisfied, or face dire consequences.
